Jim Davis, CPA heads an accounting and financial planning firm serving individuals, nonprofits and other businesses including external Chief Financial Officer services and providing consulting services to nonprofits for current and planned giving. In addition to the normal CPA office activity, Jim has provided external Chief Financial Officer services to a nonprofit hospital in a neighboring county with a budget of approximately $20 million and a public relations firm having revenue around $5 million. In both cases Jim supervised the accounting and financial functions, prepared annual budgets, monthly financial reports and participated in current and strategic planning.

Advent Christian Village is a nonprofit retirement community with a budget of approximately $20 million. Jim supervised the accounting and finance department. This organization has a nursing home, assisted living unit, residential apartments, clinic, shopping complex among other services for its approximately 1,000 residents. Jim provided financial analysis to assist the organization as it continued the growth specified in its master development plan. An additional component of his position was to provide assistance to the Development Office, especially in the planned giving area.
